foundations reused from older building partly destroyed by fire on June 10, 1194
Western façade: center and lower parts of towers shortly before mid-12th c.
south spire completed around 1165
timbers for nave aisle tie-rods felled in 1195, for choir aisle tie-rods 1210-1215
nave arcades before 1210, chevet finished around 1220 (possibly including stained glass), stalls of canons 1221
transepts under continuing construction 1230s
choir vaults and buttresses around 1260, or by 1221
formal dedication October 17, 1260
north spire Jean Texier/Jehan de Beauce 1507-1513
stained glass restored early 15th c., 1658-82, late 19th c., west windows 1976, nave/aisles 1986-88
fire 1836; replacement roof with iron framework 1837-39
major cleaning and restoration under Patrice Calvel 1998-2013, continuing to present
