Latin inscription:
AN[NO] D[OMI]NI MCLXXIIII CA[M]PANILE HOC FVIT FV[N]DATU[M] M[EN]SE AVG[USTI]
In the year of our Lord 1174 this bell tower was founded in the month of August.
