Historical Archive: Church of San Francesco, Pescia

thirteenth century
façade 1298, restored 1505, upper level added 1718-20
bell tower Carlo Antonio Arrighi, 1718-1719
nave roof raised and most frescoes destroyed 1718-20
restored 1911 to 1930 with rebuilt nave and transept ceilings (beams)
restoration and consolidation 2011-present
The conventual buildings now house legal courts.
